After traveling from Parrita and the Clandestino Beach Resort, all 9 of us (with 5 children!) made our way over to Manuel Antonio, about a 2 hour drive through a lot of dirt roads. We stayed at a rental home with a guest house and a wonderful treehouse, which quickly became an office (when air conditioning wasn’t needed!) Thus began the week of working from a treehouse in Costa Rica in Manuel Antonio!

Traveling with Children to Costa Rica: Adventures in Parrita

Clandestino Beach Resort

Traveling with children to Costa Rica can be quite an adventure. With the right combination of things to do and good accommodations however, it can make for a wonderfully unique, nature-rich trip. I went with another family for two weeks. Total count: 5 children! Our first stop was in Palo Seco, Parrita, close to the Central Valley! The location we settled into was 2 hours from the airport and well off the beaten path. I highly suggest at least two GPS maps!
